Press Release - Kezber invests $ 250,000 in Quebec NPOs!
February 18, 2020
Montreal, February 2020 - Kezber, the information technology consulting firm,
is launching its social innovation program for Quebec NPOs. Driven by President
Alan Kezber’s desire to give back to the community, Kezber’s Social Innovation
Program will invest $ 250,000 over 3 years to help various causes through its
new Horizon platform.
This content management system (CMS) will allow different organizations to meet many of their web development needs. This philanthropic initiative on the part of the digital company follows an investment of $ 35,000 in 2019 in various causes such as the Fondation Christian Vachon, Démystik and Fondation de l'Hôpital Memphrémagog. This new technological breakthrough has an exponential potential in the digital era. By helping organizations of all sizes, Kezber consequently enables them to help countless individuals in need, in many philanthropic sectors.
Always with innovation and excellence in mind, Kezber wishes to push its social innovation program even further by providing causes and organizations with technical expertise and consultation time, valued at more than $ 250,000. over the next 3 years. This assistance will result, among other things, in the creation of websites, to allow organizations to raise funds online and post their activity calendars using the Horizon platform, for example.
“The members of our team have shown us their willingness to make a difference in the community and to support the causes and organizations that were dear to their hearts. This is where the social innovation program was born.”, explains Edward Kezber, plenipotentiary and customer relations specialist at Kezber.
Philanthropy in the digital era
"What you have to understand is that you can always give more and more in monetary value to organizations, but financial offers, like everything, have their limits. Kezber wanted to turn to another form of help; something that would help these organizations in their long term development and allow them to continue to provide their services and accomplish their mission with more people “ shares Alan Kezber.
This decision was made after numerous internal consultation sessions at the Quebec company whose head office is located in Magog.
Expertise and work in the web and technology sector can prove to be very costly for organizations and therefore, the natural connection between Kezber's expertise and the immediate needs of organizations presented itself as a no-brainer.
"These organizations are no different from small and large Quebec businesses," explains Edward Kezber. They are facing the changes brought about by the digital age and therefore the need to adapt to it and to cope with it."
Kezber proves once again its capacity for innovation, not only technically, but also socially with the Horizon platform, from the Kezber social innovation program.
