WHAT DRIVES YOU

We are looking for someone like this to take on the role of Sales Manager! You will report to the President and ensure that objectives are met and operations run smoothly while supporting and mobilizing your team. You will work together to maximize the quality of activities and the efficiency of processes. You will act as a strategic advisor to the President and will be responsible for corporate development. You will also ensure a service level that meets established standards and be responsible for personnel management. Lastly, you will be responsible for effectively conveying the company’s vision and values through your actions.


Strategy

  • You will ensure that the planning of sales activities is aligned with the company objectives.
  • You will plan and manage the team’s sales territories.
  • You will support your team during client meetings (coaching before and after meetings).
  • Your role will involve leading weekly sales meetings.
  • You will develop and maintain the department’s performance indicators.
  • You will ensure that sales objectives are met by developing innovative strategies.
  • You will evaluate, establish and optimize work processes and methodologies.
  • You will plan the material and human resources required on an ongoing basis.
  • You will attend IT training events.
  • You will review customer satisfaction surveys and take action in the event of dissatisfaction.
  • You will be motivated to implement sales strategies related to the products offered.
  • It is important that you participate and contribute to the weekly operation meetings.

Personnel management/mentoring

  • You will act as your team’s leader and coach while inspiring them to employ new practices.
  • Your main role will be to ensure that employees in your department comply with the company’s vision and values.
  • To ensure departmental staffing needs, you will participate in the recruitment process by working with the Human Resources department.
  • You will develop performance evaluation criteria and ensure they remain relevant over time.
  • At certain times, you will conduct performance evaluations of employees who report to you and equip your team with tools to support their performance.
  • You will approve expense allowances, absence sheets, and overtime and annual vacation requests.
  • You will work with the Human Resources department in the event of employee termination.
  • You will be involved in applying the salary structure of account managers.

Sales and finance

  • You will maintain close relationships with clients.
  • You will distribute sales budgets.
  • You will be meticulous in tracking your team’s sales figures and forward the results to the Finance Director.
  • You will manage the sales department’s budget, expenses and overhead costs.
  • You will be required to regularly maintain the sales price structure.

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing a sales team.
  • Experience in IT sales in the consulting sector.
  • Knowledge of IT networking is essential.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Knowledge of Connectwise is a valuable asset.
  • Good knowledge of traffic analysis, campaign tracking and retargeting tools such as pixel retargeting, Google Tag Manager, Hootsuite, Crazyegg, etc.
  • Solid knowledge of social networks and their best practices, advertising placement and analysis.
  • Knowledge of online marketing platforms such as MailChimp, Lead Pages, ConnectWise and other tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
